Canada Undergraduate Enrollment

As undergraduate enrollment in engineering programs increases, so too does female undergraduate enrollment in engineering. However, the percentage of total enrollment in engineering programs has changed little over the last 15 years. Biosystems and environmental engineering have the highest proportion of female students, while civil and chemical engineering have the highest number of females. Mechanical engineering has the lowest proportion of female students, while materials and metallurgical engineering have the lowest number of female students.
